F4113n Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Lo all....just replaced Sparks on CBR 600FV and when putting back together and starting, throttle isn't working right..When blipping the throttle it sounds/feels like there isnt any petrol getting through, but then it kicks in. Tis almost like starting bike in cold weather and giving too much juice and engine dies... can't really explain any better than that...anyone got any ideas??? Quote
TC Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Have you checked that you have not crimped the fuel line when you replaced the tank. Quote
F4113n Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 yup, everything back the way it was - part from new shiny sparks....altho i need to change air filter too and check pipes at some point as there was a build up or white 'sludgy' stuff in filter box... Quote

Guest Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 did you fit the right plugs and gap them, or just shoved em in...Could also be a dodgy plug, try your old ones back in again, i've had a faulty new plug in the past, took me ages to diagnose the problem cos it was the last thing I thought of. Quote
Guest Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Another vote for checking incase you have a dodgy plug. Had the same thing and it was a real pita until I found out it was that causing the issue. Quote
