ahahah there you are

has it had a service?all the simple things add up,if 4 or 5 things arent spot on it will all add up and maybe this is what the problem is.

check

oil/filter/chain/plugs and so on and mybe it will solve the problem

if not, then i dunno cos im thick with mechanics :crybaby:

5th is for cruising, drop into 4th, and stay in the gears longer (higher revs, you may then get to your holy grail.

other than that, not much the GS125 is a 4 stroke so all the 2 stroke goodies are off limits.. i had the GS125 ES..

Give it a good service, oil change and oil filter, air filter, spark plug, fuel filter, clean the carb.

You will be amazed what at what a service can do

hey thanks for your response. i do revv it high throughout the whole gear range. i mean the revv limitor starts around 9000rpm and i always revv it upo to about 8000 before knocking it up a peg and in 4th i can get about 45 then in 5th it will trundle up to about 50ish
