Plastic polish/scratch remover

Recommended Posts

Hiya

I have quite a few tiny scratches in the headlamp and screen on my Falco... nothing to worry about (after all the bike is nearly 10 years old!) but I'm sure its possible to polish them out somewhat.

Does anyone know of any suitable polishes? I don't want to remove the scratches (or make them less obvious) at the expense of getting a foggy look to the plastic...

...I'm sure somebody somewhere recommended whitening toothpaste for this job, but was wondering whether there is a more suitable product!

Cheers.

I've ordered the NOVUS product... comes in three bottles for various stages of polishing... clips on youtube look very impressive with a guy basically sanding a CD and then recovering it. I'll let y'all know how I get on :)
