Guest Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Set off yesterday at 0940, to be at Devils Bridge to meet the ridersClive, Techno, JadeMongoose & Louise, RacBolton and Chezza.....they were all already there, so set off on the run down to Ingleton, over to Hawes and on to Leyburn, where we stopped for Chips...took to the road again, and up Sutton bank which was awesome, the boys stretched their legs, and I dropped back to follow the girls..the weather was great, and everything was going well, too well.........................the boys had slowed to wait for us, and we appeared over the brow, and well this happened...http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/25655_1420218986680_1268848620_1188.jpghttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/26536_1420588435916_1268848620_1189.jpghttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/26536_1420588635921_1268848620_1189.jpgRac Bolton connected with the back of Clive sending them both off. Luckily the only thing broken was the bikes, Clive went top Hospital to be checked out, and the bikes were recovered.. Rachel went back in a Van with Chezza and her bloke who'd been kind enough to come out to the damsel in distress.so after hanging around the roadside for a few hours, we were back on our way, albeit a little less joyful.. reached Scarborough and i turned off, and lost Matt, well he had found the hotel, whilst i took a not amused Techno on a mystery tour of scarborough, yep, i was lost, anyway after the second tour of Scarb, we took to the coast road/prom and found the hotel..This mornings photoshttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/Image0236.jpghttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/Image0238.jpghttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/Image0239.jpghttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/Image0240.jpghttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg250/simonevans73/Image0242-1.jpg Quote

Guest Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Dude !!!!Glad there wasn't any proper physical casualties, bikes are easier to fix !!We actually past you guy's at the scene on sat afternoon, the cops where already there, so we karted on as there seemed to be a few people milling about, must have been about 3 miles East of sutton bank (We was riding Red/White/Black Aprillia RSV Factory and Green ZX10R). We stopped in Helmsley and was havin the crack about what must have happened. We said that it must have been a rear end shunt from a bike to bike (seeing that no cars was around).Must have put a right dampner on the weekend for those involved Anyway, everyone walked away which is always a good outcome !Take it easy guy's - be safe Quote
Guest Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 We actually past you guy's at the scene on sat afternoon, the cops where already there, I was the one stood on the brow, signalling cars to slow for it, but had a few nobs who decided on overtakes then sh&t themselves with the blue lighters, all the bikes were glad of the heads up....
