Hello everyone, right.... my question is this.... what the hell is the difference between Monolock and Monokey top boxes, i'm going round Europe in less than two weeks, and i really want a top box, but there are so many makes and types and sizes... i just don't know what's what, and how am i meant to know what will fit my CBR 600 FX!!!!

I mean, i have looked on ebay at loads of things, but there all sold seperately on there, i actually dreamt of top boxes, racks and plates last night!!!

confused.com! anyone???? meep.. help?? lol. :)

MonoKey series is the top of the line series with a more substantial mount, more features, and better quality construction. MonoKey mounts are sold seperately.

The MonoLock cases are generally a smaller and lighter top case with a smaller mount and lock up. Consider MonoLock cases for "light duty" applications. MonoLock cases are sold with a universal mount included."

:stupid: Agree Monokey is the better of the two. Monolock smaller more suited to scooters and small bikes

Unfortunatly i dont think anyone does anything for the CBR 600 in the way of Hard luggage. So your left with the tail pack/Panniers and tank bag in soft luggage.

I might be wrong Let us know how you get on.
