mealexme Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 when turning left, when doing lifesavers, which shoulder should you look over? or should u look over both? because i remember reading somewhere that you should look over your right shoulder, but seems more sensible to look over your left to me? Quote
2fast2soon Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Here's what I was told by my instructors last Autumn. On a main road turning off left:Rear Observation (Left Mirror, Right Mirror, Right Lifesaver)IndicatorLeft Lifesaver before turningOn a minor road turning left at the junction onto a main road:Rear Observation (LM, RM, RL)Indicator,Left LifesaverMove to the left of the roadObserve the road is clearLeft Lifesaver just before you turn onto the road.Hope that helps. Mightycaz Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Are you talking about doing lifesavers for a test or just in general? If its for a test then lifesaver (both sides), Mirror then one more lifesaver the way you will be turning, If its just a general question then alls you need to do is make sure you are sure its safe to turn, if that means doing 10 lifesavers then do 10!! Guest Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I would look over both shoulders - but not at the same time. Quote
