This years run makes a triumphal return on 1st April. It leaves New Brighton Prom at 11.00 am. For those who aren't familiar with this event, it's been running now for 27 years & has attracted in the past upto 10,000 bikes. For the last 2 years local police tried to ban it but we all ignored them & did it anyway. They've now admitted defeat and given permission so this year should be a bit special. For more info visit http://wirraleggrun.co.uk. It's well worth your support so hopefully see you there. ( sorry I can't post aproper link as the site won't let me :( :( :( :( Hang on now it has :D :D :D :D

I remember it well! I could never work out why they even attempted to ban it. Most people seem to think it's because they changed the route & it now goes through very posh Caldy & Heswall I'd post pictures myself but it is a bit complicated :? :( :o
