cypek Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I have a charger like in your first link. Got it for £4.99 from Lidl Nothing wrong with it and if you want to just charge the battery once then there is no point of getting anything fancy/expensive. Thats just my opinion Also, can't you just push-start your bike and go for a good, few hours ride? Quote
adam1979 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Quick jump start off a car battery will be ok. Make sure the car is not running though, or bump start it if you live on a hill. Quote
Phil_D Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 nah il def need to charge the battery / jump it as last time i let the battery go flat it was a bast*rd to start even after id charged the battery, i think the carbs get gummed up or something Quote
Phil_D Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 would this be suitable to charge my bikes battery?http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... HARGER.htm Quote
cypek Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Don't think so:For use with 12 volt lead acid car batteries between 20 - 70AhOn mine it says - max 12Ah... Quote
