Im looking for a cheap battery charger, does this look any good?

they are realy cheap but i only need to charge the battery up once as im about to leave uni and my bikes battery is completely flat :(


the other option would be to jump it off a car battery, would this be safe to do? its a cbr 600 fy.

I have a charger like in your first link. Got it for £4.99 from Lidl 8-) Nothing wrong with it and if you want to just charge the battery once then there is no point of getting anything fancy/expensive. Thats just my opinion :wink:

Also, can't you just push-start your bike and go for a good, few hours ride?

Quick jump start off a car battery will be ok. Make sure the car is not running though, or bump start it if you live on a hill.

nah il def need to charge the battery / jump it as last time i let the battery go flat it was a bast*rd to start even after id charged the battery, i think the carbs get gummed up or something

Don't think so:

For use with 12 volt lead acid car batteries between 20 - 70Ah

On mine it says - max 12Ah...

well just bought a bike it trickle charger from halfords for £25 :(


but as i actually have a charger at home (im at uni) im just going to charge my battery up overnight then take it back to halfords and say it was the wrong one :)
