engine removal from nc 24

hi all


after having many problems getting my fueling issues sorted(touch wood fixed now) i have totally striped the bike down and am trying to remove the engine. i have followed my haynes manual and have one last bolt to undo but it says i need a honda service tool(peg spanner) any help welcome i have never heard of one of these cheers


where can i get one or what else can i use.

have stripped a few engines out of a few bikes in my time and never needed any special tools...


just spanners and socket set n u should be ok with it...

Av teken the little bliters ta bits afew times and never used out but the same as Pid said, but u can get castle sockets for the job but u shouldnt need them. 8)

if it only has 2 indents in the nut top then shock loose with a hamer an chissel

If you have a dremel multi and some patience you can make one from an old socket..


Since your going to have to put it back in anyway you may as well do it properly.. as your going ot be stuck when it comes to re-fitting it, which makes no sense at all..
