Heff
Ok so I'm going to be getting a new bike a 125 and I've got some textile leathers already but the pants are s*** I wore them today in a thunder storm and go soaked through. I need a good reliable pair of pants that will keep me dry in the worst of weathers but they also need to be light and not make me too hot because I live in Manchester and the weather is constantly changing by the 10mins haha. I also need a new pair of gloves, thick but I can still safely operate the bike and as water proof as possible any suggestions? Is Scott a good brand? I have a Scott jacket that held up great in the terential rain and thunder storm today we had, is it work changing it? or should i just keep with it because I know it can survive bad weather?Heff
Susieque
I may be wrong, but I think even the best textile trousers will leak somewhere in such heavy rain! It might be worth getting some of the lightweight waterproof overtrousers/jacket or you can get an all-in-one waterproof oversuit.
