Only you can answer that. as I understand it, it surrounds ya head in cold stuff in the event of an accident to reduce brain injury.

the money is not the issue but really want to know if its a good helmet

can't answer that I'm afraid. Have you had a look at the Sharp website to see if they have tested it?

Would wait until/if the technology is adopted by other manufacturers.


A good fitting lid and not having a collsion will save you a fortune!

i will check them now,seen more info from bikergirl which makes it seem quite impressive


- for 5 years if u crash they will replace it free of charge


-has a gps system installed in the helmet so an ambulance will be alerted as soon as u crash

Are you sure about the GPS feature, I couldn't find that mentioned on the thermahelm site.


If this sort of tech actually works then I can see it being licensed by all the helmet manufacturers very shortly.

Why on earth is it only in a blog entry? I'd have thought that would be one of the helmets major features and as such should be plastered on every page!?! Probably down to it being a very small company and the marketing people aren't all that...

maybe its based in a university


think im gonna bite the bullet on this and order one £400 off is a good buy and they kind of raved about it in a sports bike magazine,if anyone else wants to order one either post here or pm and i will give you the discount code
