Guest Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 can't answer that I'm afraid. Have you had a look at the Sharp website to see if they have tested it? Quote
Hoody Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Would wait until/if the technology is adopted by other manufacturers.A good fitting lid and not having a collsion will save you a fortune! Quote

Have you had a look at the Sharp website to see if they have tested it? i will check them now, seen more info from bikergirl which makes it seem quite impressive - for 5 years if u crash they will replace it free of charge -has a gps system installed in the helmet so an ambulance will be alerted as soon as u crash Quote

2fast2soon Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Are you sure about the GPS feature, I couldn't find that mentioned on the thermahelm site. If this sort of tech actually works then I can see it being licensed by all the helmet manufacturers very shortly. not having a collsion will save you a fortune! useful to know Quote
megawatt Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Had a vr2 once, don,t think Sharp test was good. Two stars, I think. Got a Shoei now. Quote

2fast2soon Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Why on earth is it only in a blog entry? I'd have thought that would be one of the helmets major features and as such should be plastered on every page!?! Probably down to it being a very small company and the marketing people aren't all that... Quote
