illvibetip Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Its not that exotic (and it wasnt very warm either) but i just finished my first longer-distance road trip (compared to what ive done up till now) on my bike .I rode from Koreas East coast across the South coast and onto to the West to visit and see their islands. I took a more mountainous route on the way back so that I could enjoy the corners and quieter roads. I did just over 1100 kms in total.I have to say, it was more tiring/colder than i expected it would be and if I learned one thing - is that a hot bath is very underrated! Quote

TC Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Looks like a great ride lovely and peaceful in places as well. Quote
illvibetip Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 Yeah, it was very peaceful. I took the ride right in the middle of 'solar new year' which is one of asias biggest holidays (which means everyone is at home with family).Busans a great city but penned in - so not a lot of good riding there (but fine for the other...). Im situated about an hour up the East coast. Its a small, historic city and plenty of good riding. If you come to korea you should come up here. Its (as far as i know) the only place you can hire 125cc scooters and ride around. Quote
