Guest nigelf
That price dont include the TIG part be carefull and read adverts carefully. Good TIG INVERTERS are expensive and the easier to use ones are even more expensive. £700 to £1000 is not unheard of for good welders.also if your doing frame welds with bigger powerful engines it may be cheaper and safer in the long run to have the welds done professionally.all that said good luck, I am trying to build a machine around a CBF1000 lump. I will however be using steel as i dont need a racy frame. Nigel
Guest
being a Welder i would get it done by some one who knows what hes doing its way to easy to f**k things up doing frame welds
Guest
i have modified quite a few motor cycle frames in the past but never an ally one
Guest scol1
Deffo reccommend you have the welding done professionally, either Tig or gas,a welder has to go through a 4 year apprenticeship to learn how to weld.I can stick metal together,Mig,Tig,Gas and stick but I would NEVER contemplate welding a motorcycle.Just my opinion for what it's worth.
