stevie16v Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 both tyre valves on the divi are cracked and losing air. Needing to replace them. Never done it before, is it something i can do myself? Quote
Guest Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 You could ...But in all honesty, it'd save no end of faffing if you took the wheels out and took them to a tyre place. They have the kit to break the beads. Thats the hardset part. Then replace the valve itself, from inside the wheel/tyre cavity. And reinflate..Should only cost you a few quid.. Quote
stevie16v Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 sounds like a plan, Saves me messing about if i have to do that. Cheers Whilst im on the subject. I noticed the back tyre has had a previous puncture plugged. IS this a safe enough fix? Quote
Guest Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Done correctly, they are nothing to worry about. Quote
