I am thinking of ideas of how i can protect my laptop in my rucksack while riding my bike?

One of my biggest fears is not only falling off, but falling off with my laptop on my back lol £1000 smashed to pieces, id rather break my bones.

I use my laptop at work, but am considering reducing the amount of times i take it to work with me, i will take my laptop one day, then my portable tv the next day (the tv is only worth 100 quid).

Before i came off my bike last year i used to use a normal every day rucksack on my back and carry my laptop in that for work.

Once i was so half asleep at 6am in the morning after a 16 hour shift... i rode home with my rucksack open with my laptop inside it (irrelevant story i know, but it is funny to me now).

So what suggestions do you have?

i also take mine to work on my back. I put mine inside my helmet carrier just to protect it from scratches really. I dont think you can save it if you have an off so im happy to just protect its condition

The added bonus with carrying it like this is... You get a free back protector!

Insurance for accidental breakages tbh

Under my student possessions accidental damage cover, i am covered for falling off my bike and breaking my laptop, apparently :P (and as i recorded the call where i asked that question, i definitely am  )

Personally have a special suspension laptop bag thing (fancy), that i bungee to the pillion seat. And try not to do it frequently as i don't trust myself. Don't want a big heavy laptop on my back if i come off...
