Guest Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Myself and Dan have looked into this and have not come up with anything. I just wanted to check it isn't possible, as there are indications online that it is possible, but i can't work it out. I have a samsung galaxy ace with a cardo scala q2 headset, bluetooth is paired, how do/can i play the music on the phone through the headset using bluetooth? thank you muchly Quote
dwb Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Yes, if the MP3 device and headset support Bluetooth A2DP technology, you're in business.I was shocked when my Nokia streamed music through my headset! From what I can see the Galaxy is A2DP compatible, but according to the Cardo site the Scala Q2 isn't (but the Q2 Pro is). Presume you don't have the Pro?Dave Quote
Guest akey Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 The q2 doesn't support a2db so you can't listen to stereo music over Bluetooth. Not sure if your phone does either! Sorry it's wires for musicSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Guest Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Doh! Phone does support A2DP! Damn, Why'd ya have to prove Dan right again! Quote
Guest akey Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 He he sorry. You can still use the mp3 cable though I assume ( that's what I do with the iPhone and my See ya laterSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
nomad Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I have the scala Q2 and I pair my phone to my satnav (Garmin Zumo 660) but for Mp3 I use the built in MP3 player on my zumo, pillion uses the wire to her iPOD though connected to her Q2 headset. Quote
Guest Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Yeah, daft really i can pair it to my phone for calls and pair it to a sat nav, but can't listen to the music on the phone! Oh well radio or cables it is! And Dan jabbering away! Quote
Mightycaz Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 The head set has to support bluetooth stereo to work with music, I have a sony thing that works as both hands free and headphones. Your Galaxy should definatley support it http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/275-8673970-5 ... lla-search Quote
