Hi,

I am looking for a tank bag which is slim (or expandible) but preferably hard shelled. To take a small laptop and change of clothes ... (the eternal change of clothes for work issue). I though I saw someone with something similar, which was like a mini briefcase, but cant seem to identify it online!

Any ideas?

I currently use a backpack, which works pretty well, but covers up my hi-vis.

Thanks

I use a Givi tank-bag, it's great but has some heft magnets on it. I don't like the idea of having a laptop that close to them.

I stick my laptop in my Knox Six-Pack, it may be on my back but it's very comfy.

Do not ever put an computer near magnets unless you don't need anything that is on the hard drive

Not so important if you're lucky enough to have an SSD drive :)

Bingo, and in fairness it takes a lot of magnetic power to even begin wiping/errasing a harddrive. I've had one stuck to a magnet for over week in the past (and this was one of those door magnets they use in buildings, to hold them shut) didn't harm it one bit. (yes it was just a test) t'was an old 40gb one, but my point is no data was lost, so unless your very unlucky, then you'll be fine with a magnetic tank bag if you don't get a strapped one.

Why don't you just get a hi-vis cover for the backpack - something like the "Hump" - they're pretty good and add an extra water resistant layer.
