dreadycraig Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 How do you fit oxford first time tailpack AND panniers? I can fit them individually, but I cant figure out how to fit them at the same time? The main problem is the side flaps for the tailpack can't sit down the side of the bike because the straps for the panniers are in the way. Quote
Guest Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Any pics?Do the flaps of the tail pack have to hang over the sides?? Can they be folded under and then the tail pack attached?Hard to know .. Quote

I think they must need to be folded under, i can't think of how else the pannier straps can fit if the tailpack flaps hang over the sides. I've come to the conclusion of bollocks to it, i'm just gonna bungy the f*** out of it Quote
Guest Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Thats the ticket!! As long as it stays on Soft luggage can be an arse for sure!! Quote
Susieque Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I've come to the conclusion of bollocks to it, i'm just gonna bungy the f*** out of it That is just a brilliant quote!!!! Very appropriate for all sorts of situations!! Quote
RiffmasterII Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Roll the flaps up on the tail pack and bungee it up, I use that grey foam stuff that you normally put on water pipes to cover the bungee ropes to protect the paint work. Quote
salsarider79 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 I use that grey foam stuff that you normally put on water pipes to cover the bungee ropes to protect the paint work. That advice would have saved me money! My paint was damaged cos of all the times I carried soft luggage! Should have thought of that Quote
scanty Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 is it the first time tank n tailer? if so the whole thing unzips so you can fold the magnetic flaps under and then there's nothing hanging except the seat strap and bungees Quote
