Tyre fitting, is this a diy job?

Ive got two new conti's front and rear and a bike with only a side stand.

I got a rear paddock stand.

Do they require ballancing etc.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! :? :? :? :?

My local bike shop only charged £50 to swop over some tyres for me m8 onto some powdercoated rims i had done, that price included them having my bike, removing wheels, changing discs over, bearings fitted(i supplied new ones),wheels balanced and new valve.

The wheels defo need balancing m8 so i would just take ur tyres and bike down to a local shop and ask for a price to do the work for ya

Not worth the hassle of trying to do the job ur self 8)

i fitted some tyres last week myself

all i can say is its more hassle then its worth

took 2 hours to do :?

if you can get the front and back wheels off at the same time go get them fitted at a shop only costs between 5 and 15 quid a wheel plus they get rid of the old tyres too

If you live in Nottingham try these people: http://www.mtsnottingham.co.uk/index.htm

or I've found this one that might be of use, S.P.S Mobile tyre motorcycle tyre specialists Tel 07973157403 or 01773-710882

I've used MTS there sound, I've no feed back from the other.

Its a pain to do them yourself without a bead breaker, and for sure they need to be balanced.

Hope you get sorted

regards chris
