Having just purchased a GPZ500 I have noticed a problem with the indicators. Idling and normal speeds (below 5.5k revs) they work fine, then above 6k they flash like there is a bulb out.

Would this be a symptom of the regulator/rectifier?

If the indicator relay was knackered then surely they would just not work at all?

Any help would be much appreciated

sounds like reg/rec or alternator to me!

could be various other things though!

you need a volt meter!

could be the relay mate,,,, my RXS was the same as yours in that the higher the revs the faster they flashed... changed the relay and they are spot on now...

Tested the battery with a multimeter, engine around 6k 14.5v so went to a breakers second hand relay, problem sorted :D
