"model": Bullson Manx

Price: £115 new, now £109.99

Owned them for just over 6 months

Good points

Totally waterproof

not too hot in summer, nor too cold in winter

Can walk in them aswell as being used on the bike

They have extra material for the gears

Patches of reflective material on the back of them

Good quality

Bad points

Although they are good quality, there is slight wear from where i change up the gears from only 6000 miles worth of riding (and I dont always wear my boots)

One of the zips is really stiff

Zip is too small to do up with gloves on

Thought they had steal toecaps as they were solid when I bought them, now realise its just tough plastic

No extra padding/armor on the ankles

Specs:

Function

two zippers for ease of getting on

highly elasticated zones above instep and heel

removable insole (wasnt aware of that, may have to go and have a look at them again)

abrasion-resistant leather gearshift pad (mainly abrasion-proof lol)

Protection

special plastic-reinforced insole

Construction

water-resistant cowhide

sheltex® membrane (100% water- and windproof)

oil- and petrol resistant rubber sole

textile lining: 52% polyamide, 34% polyester, 14% polyurethane

Would I get another pair?

Possibly, if the reason I need another pair isnt because these have worn out within a year

I would certainly reccomend them though

Other comments

There is no squeaking like there are on some boots, it gives good flexibility in your ankle when worn in (at first they were stiff, as most items of clothing)

They give a good piece of mind, especially on petrol forecourts which have petrol on them. Petrol resistant sole diffinately works. Put my foot down with these and they grip, same place with same amount of petrol and i almost fell over with trainers on.

4/5 stars! (because of lack of protection)
