Hi, i was looking to get a new exhaust for my bike cause it is quite quiet and i prefer a slightly louder one (feel it makes people more aware of me on the road).

i have a pulse adrenaline (yes i know chinese, but i wanted something to get my through my test and i knew a dealership owner who sold me one at trade price new) anyway back to the topic,

does anyone know if the original exhaust on these have silencers?, if so would anyone be so kind as to tell me how i would take it out?. if not looks like ill buy a new end can.

Thanks

i have seen a few videos on youtube with people that have fitted different exhausts onto it and with ease by the sounds of it, surprised me when i found out that other exhausts fit on it.

but im guessing that with what you said, i wouldn't be able to just remove it?

but surely at £35 it wouldn't exacty break the bank, i have seen people buy the full yoshimura exhaust system for there bike costing a few hundred for the sound and performance.

plus i will use this bike for atleast another 12-24 months as i have only just got work and can now start to affored my test, bigger bike and new gear etc (not that i had old stuff to start with but would like a new helmet if i go for a bigger bike)

As far as I know it doesn't need anything doing other than removing the old end can and replacing it with this one, and changing the bracket places due to it being a much shorter exhaust.

I have been told it helps the bike run smoother in the lower reps, don't know how true this is, it couldn't do that being just the can could it?. An the only thing putting me off is me making a right bad job of it, don't want to damage the bike

if the can you are putting on is made to fit your bike you shouldnt mess it up and it should come with the fixing bracket needed to fot it all up i looked at soem on youtube and where the can ends behind the side panel only thing i thought was the heat affecting the panel could ruin it

That was another thing that bothered me too, but with the standard exhaust, it is nearly touching the same panel but a but further back, I may just think on it for a bit, no need to rush into anything I guess, thanks for your help though
