keith565 Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 well, i don't know about anyone else today, but my wife and i had a fab morning on the egg run.estimates put the number of bikes between 800 and 1000. this was our first met and really special.lots of lovely bikes, set off from carville park and ride, went through Durham, then on to Darlington memorial hospital to drop some Easter eggs off for the kiddies before going back to Durham. had police escort, marshals closing off roads/junctions/roundabouts etc, felt really special. all in all lasted about 4 hours but we only did 50 odd miles.just wish i had a helmet cam. perhaps for next year.anyway, a few pics of the beginning, middle and end.
