Guest
Hi all,I passed my CBT around a month ago and am trying to get as many miles under my belt as possible, ready for the main bike test. On that note, any ideas how long I should wait before attempting the test ? What would be my first step ? Thanks in advance.Chivo
littlecat
depends whether you are having lessons or not... riding unsupervised is all very well , but you can pick up lots of bad habits which need to be unlearnt before you take your test
CarlosVonBrum
Ho boy there is a BIG difference between a CBT and a full test. Consider a 3 day DAS course or get ready for a big disappointment... I don't mean to be a dick but you've only scratched the surface, fellah.
Susieque
You're doing the right thing by getting in plenty of practise - just need more of it!
Whitechapel
I passed about 2 months ago, clocked well over 1000 miles so far. I've not had lessons which is a bit silly.DAS1/MOD1 booked for next week so we'll see how that goes.MOD2 isn't until later in the month so if the instructor reckons I need a bit more time then I'll delay it by a few months. davefly76
Why wait? Do the theory test now and start lessons as soon as you can!
Tango
Yeah....get some lessons and then put what you learn into practice out on your own. Then when you feel confident go for it.....
