chin strap wear

Have to agree with Tango sounds like a new lid :?

Matbe you are pulled the strap at an angle when doing the strap up, maybe try pulling it at such an angle so it doesn't wear it out as much.

I don't know about other makes, but Arai will replace your strap, if you take it to an authorised Arai dealers, or visit one of their stands at most bike shows :thumb:

cheers. Do you think they would replace the strap on another brand of helmet? I don't think it's the angle. I pull it tight around my neck. It's on/off 20+ times a week.

Really? Didin't realise they could replace them either!

 

I had mine replaced at an Arai mobile service centre at the Butlins Skegness bike show, the original had been frayed because of velcro on my jacket collar, I think it was still safe, but it looked very untidy, they replaced it free of charge.

Another reason to buy a quality lid :D
