Raym
I have a problem in that my rear indicator on my 2001 cb 750 stops working every now and then I think the problem lies within the unit because when i move the wire it starts working again . Can the unit be stripped down or is it time for a new one ?As always thanks in advance
Tango
Yes.....when you take the lens off generally the bulb holder and reflector can be pulled out and the connections can be checked (or at least you can on all the Triumphs I've had.... ). eastanglianbiker
also check the earth as moving it slightly could be a sign of a bad earth check under the seat if there is one or 2 wires coming from the indicator if only one then it uses the frame mounting as an earth
Colin the Bear
Anything can be dis assembled with the right tools. Quite quickly with a sledge hammer
oslin06
In most cases it is just the bulb and connections to the bulb that have got dirty and need cleaning, if it is not then as others suggest check the wiring.Keith
