Mirror extender bolts

Throttled

Recommended Posts

The bolts on my mirror extenders have rusted such that I cannot get them tight any more. They look like this

What size are the bolts? A search on line does not get an answer.

Thanks

There is a very slim chance that it has a M10 fine thread mate, with a 8mm Allen head. If it is M8 thread and 8mm Allen head, it's the first one I've ever seen !!! will check some M8s and M10s tomorrow.

Hi, l would say it was a 8mm thread, can l suggest you clean up the female tread on the lever first what ever size thread it is with a plug tap. With a steel bolt going into a alloy thread it could be just a case of the tread getting oxidised and thus becoming tight. Hope this helps.
