Fozzie Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-SUZUKI- ... 43b88197edWiring and stuff is easy to attain from any supplier like rapid, RS, maplins. All you need is the size of the conductor of the general wiring and with that you are set to go.I used the above kit and there is other good stuff in his shop that will help you do a full rewire. Its lasted well too as the rear of the loom on my bike is custom made by me using bits from it! Quote

That kit looks good... i was looking at waterproof connectors like this one: http://polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/info_K401.htmlI know i can get everything from RS, Maplins, Farnell etc, but they are not dedicated automotive suppliers. I was hoping someone might have some great links to a places where there is cool stuff i've never seen before.. Also selections of wire - rather than having to buy 30m reels of each colour i need, it would be useful to be able to buy say 5m of a selection of colours. Again, i know most do cut to length, but a selection pack of wires would be an easy (lazy) option!! Quote

Fozzie Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I've used the above when I was fixing an old Ninja 250 loom...I had to strip out some wiring as someone did a terrible bodge job. Worked fine and the whole loom was fixed.Polevolt are good but when I ordered I managed to get a hefty bill. I didnt use the waterproof one, on the KTM I would as it sounds like your going to be hitting the green lanes so yes. But for every day use if you have a good faired bike or the routing keeps it dry from rain then I wouldn't worry about using the special ones I'm adding this to my blog I think, ive done so much bike electrics before Quote
