About time to buy a MIG welder..

Hey guys

Right, sitting here and decided its about time i bought myself a MIG welder.

Im a fully qualified MIG and TIG welder, but never really welded much of my own stuff..

Been sitting here for a few hours and gone through a bike check of my bike components, and written down whats left to buy / do to it etc..

and there has been a couple of little bits ive needed welding on my bike since the day ive had it..

Speedo mounting brackets and front fairing mounting brackets to be exact..

I can get welding done, but that would mean lugging my bike on a trailor to my friends house, half hour drive away. and thats too much hassle..

be easier for now and in the long run if i just bought myself a welder.. :D

Looking to get a no gas 100A MIG welder.. on ebay, they are around £115..

But honestly, i havent got that money right now.. i could have soon, but im inpatient, and every penny i saved is another penny towards getting my bike finally on the road.. :D

Anyone fairly near by to my location selling what im after at all? for a good price. :D

cheers

Would of thought a fully qualified welder would know that your only as good as the tools you have in hand. Tig - Mig welders without a gas is going to be cheap and shite. you'll be lucky if you can get a half decent stick welder for that money!

I have a spare 130 Amp gas MIG welder for sale . I know it works well. I have used the small gas bottles with it, but a green bottle from Adams gas is the way to go. Do not buy a gasless MIG, buy a gas one that you may be able to use gasless wire with.

My mig is both gas or gasless. I buy wire specifically for gasless use and am yet to have any problems. Sure gas is better but for knocking up brackets or general welding on bikes or cars gasless with decent wire is fine.
