mightysaints
Not sure what's wrong. I have an old gsx 750 es. Starts first time and ticks over ok. Serviced last week, new plugs, oil, filters etc. Goes well up to 8000rpm but no further in any gear. Anyone have an idea why this is happening

Tango
So....when it gets to 8000rpm does it start stuttering.....or does it just not go any further?
mightysaints
It's stuttering, drop the revs down it and its ok. Feels like fuel starvation but why

mightysaints
Sorted it out. Put in new coils and a CDI from an old GSX thousand and the engine is very sweet now. Revs right through the range
