Tail bag for the rear rack on my V-strom?

Recommended Posts

Anyone got any suggestions for a Tailbag that I can put on the Rear Rack of my DL650?

I've alreat got an Oxford Tailbag and I don't particularly want a solid box but there must be something out there that I can fit thats soft? It cant have side wings though because of the indicator stalks.

Any feasable suggestions welcome..

Thanks

Most with side wings will fold underneath anyway so i wouldn't be put off a particular one because of that.

So you are suggesting that I simply throw a couple of bungies over the top to hold it...simples :D

Most have bungee hoops on various points as well as the wing bits. Mine have various hoops attached around at different heights so easy to fix on with bungees, or I can fold the wings under the rack and fix them together in the middle.

It's really worth considering the Kriega stuff.......not cheap....but really good quality. I have the US30 Tailpack....and even after my 110 mile ride in torrential rain in Wales the other week everything in the pack was bone dry......so I actually had some dry clothing to change into....

That's what carrier bags are for!
