I was out for about 3 hours.....did around 100 miles on empty roads.....and only used 10 Euros of fuel! Roughly 55mpg......can't fault that!

Damn.....it's hard going here!

One of the jobs of the Moderators on this site is to ban people who post pictures of riding their bikes in blazing sunshine whilst we are looking out the window at p*ssing rain and temperatures just into double figures.....

Seriously though.....more nice pics.....even more reason to get the bike over to Europe before I'm too old to do it..... 8-)

Photos taken here can be deceptive though.......I can put up pics in December and January with bright blue skies.....and it looks like tropical conditions.

But the reality is actually very different.....take a look at this from early this year.....

.....the temperature then was 4 degrees, then you've got the wind chill factor being in a high exposed location!

It was bloody nobbling.......I had to go home after about half an hour!

I rode my Blade to Spain once, motorways all the way,

motorways all the way back.

Didn't ride it at all while I was there, just did pool bar

pool bar

I need to go back again and do it properly

Once you get off the main thoroughfare there's some fantastic roads and great places to visit Ian!
