Custom Bike lift

I have a unique need for a Bike lift.

It needs to be light weight and easy transportable, capable of being maneuverable when the bike is on the lift and must lift to a hight of 115cm.

I have been looking on the net for someone that can custom make one suitable or if there are any currently on the market.

Any pointers in the right direction appreciated.

That's some intro post... Welcome

You need to look online, you can purchase plans. I found them with a simple google search.

Then you just go to Wickes and local hardware stores or even ebay and order the stuff in. But if you can't build it yourself I suggest just buying one off ebay as it will be about £200 for the cheapest one.

Indeed.

Question 1: What is the weight of the bike?

Question 2: Are you able to use a flat platform to lift - i.e. directly on the sump.

Question 3: How far are you going to want to move it.

Question 5: What surface are you likely to be moving it around on?

Cheers,

Fro

They are easy to make out of steel or wood. Loads of plans on the net. Some just use a standard, removable hydraulic trolley jack or a screw thread. Cost for new are around 300 quid. If you can wait, I,ll make one for ya.
