grunthorpe
Hey guys,You haven't failed me yet so I'm hoping I'm not about to ruin your glorious streak! Hopefully one day I will be able to return the favour (like when I'm back in the UK and manage to make a rally or something )Anyhow, I was sucked into buying a beautiful K3 helmet due partly to it's snug fit, but mostly because it is really pretty! (Yes I am a man but I was like a girl in a shoe shop - no sexism intended toward our lovely lady contributors )I had foolishly done no research prior to my purchase, so am lumbered with a big problem. I can't seem to find a road-legal tinted visor for it anywhere... I would settle for a tinted pinlock insert, but low and behold, they don't make one :/So here is your mission if you choose to accept - please could you find me either a road-legal tinted visor or suggest an alternative means of tinting a clear visor? Thanks,Nick
Mr Fro
Can you get fully road leagal tinted visors? You can get visors with BS numbers and kitemarks which have "Daytime Use Only" on them. These are fine but cease to be legal when it's not daytime (funnily enough) so technically you should swap it to a clear one in the evening/at night.Pinlocks are the same story but obviously it's easier to whip one of those out than bugger about swapping visors.OR... You could wear sunnies. Are these the tinted pinlocks that nobody makes by the way? http://www.racevisors.co.uk/product/agv-k3-pinlock-inserts
grunthorpe
Thanks very much! I sort of assumed that when looking on pinlock's own website and it saying they didn't make them for my helmet, that would be definitive!
OhJay
There are reactolite pinlocks as well but they're something like £40-
