Hello, I am wondering if you could give me advise on what kind of clothing you would wear for off road motorbiking?

I am just wanting to do it as a hobby, going on tracks etc. not doing races.

Thanks in advance

I buy my gear from MD Racing..

i rate the UFO helmets highly (wearing one in my profile pic) but all depends what kind of riding you'll be doing, what budget you have.

Thanks joeman,

I havent really set a budget for the gear, as I think its important to get good stuff, especially helmets as they can save your life.

Would you recommend getting armour, for shoulders, back, neck etc?

Yep! As much protection as possible because your are going to fall off loads and it will hurt lots!!

You planning on riding Motocross or enduro? That will help you decide what gear and also what bike to buy.

Probably best to go do a course on off road bikes to make sure you like it before spending too much money.

Would probable be more like enduro, just going on the local tracks.

I do go on some of my mates bikes, not fast so not got any gear. But yes I will see if i can try it out before hand. Thanks for the idea
