I have just ordered a san disk sd card 32gb for £15

make sure its a class 10 as they read and write faster which is better for video :)

yeah stick it in and get used to how it all works etc

as I say in past posts if you find that the 3 minute loop recording is no good you can update the firmware to record for 50 mins none stop :)

Probably gonna go for 3 minute loop recording.

That's what Im doing too. Easy enough to stitch the files together to make a longer movie if you need to.

Do you not get a bit of lag between files?

I get roughly 200-500ms delay using my old cam when stitching files together which is crap for track day naughtiness.

(STILL waiting for my SD card and reader to turn up...)

Yes you lose a few frames

If you have a large card then use the firmware update and delete the files every few days

pretty easy to take the mic outside the camera and into the helmet

Here you can see the mic (black and silver cylinder thing) on the red and black wires. easy to extend the wires through a hole in the camera body and into the helmet.

this is what i need right? :D

No you want a MicroSD card.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005 ... UTF8&psc=1

That is what I use in my Drift and it's cheaper than the SanDisk range and just as good.

Plus you get a Micro to full SD converter and microsd to USB converter for the price.

Sorry Stu, only found it when I ordered my drift.....

Have tested the card, works great.

Plus if you have Amazon Prime video, fork out £5 more a year and get the free next day shipping included as well on anything Prime marked.
