Break! Help!

I'd roughen the area you're going to "stick" with some coarse sandpaper to give it better grip. Then just stick it together and see how strong it is, if you feel it needs strengthening add an extra piece of strong plastic over the crack on the inside of the fairing.

Then wack a sticker over it :)

Grab yourself a piece of PVC bike, or any other plastic material. Cable ties will even work.

This guy has a series of videos on how to do it. All you do is melt and stitch the plastic and add filler material:

I did it on a Daytona 600 nose cone. Had nothing to loose as I already had a new one. Didn't have an iron at the time so just used an old camping stove and a knife.

Also, cheack out delboy's garage plastic fix on youtube. Basically the same thing, but one way to make it stronger is to heat a folded out paper clip and melt that into the join for extra strength.

I have dark grey epoxy, plastic welding cement, and a soldering iron.

Any ideas on how I should sort this out?

Thanks

Once you've glued it into position...

Cut a few short lengths of fencing wire, about 40mm will do. Then on the reverse, use the soldering iron to melt the wire into the plastic. This'll minimise the flexing of the repair and increase the likelihood that it'll last more than a week.

Great advice from you guys!

Much appreciated as usual!

Don't know what I'd do without you!
