Rst tractech evo, two piece

Recommended Posts

Brought these 2/3 months ago.

I'm roughly a 38 chest. And 36 waist.

I was told rst measure small, they wasn't wrong.

Jackets a 46 in chest, if I put a hoody on it's really tight.

Jacket has a removeable lining.

In 6ft 2 and the arms are ever so slightly short.

Stiching started to unravel on the arm. Rst said send it back and they will sort it.

Trousers

Trousers are spot on fit wise.

Only problem is my feet tangle in the lining at the bottom of the leg.

Not been down the road yet. Il come back and update when I do.

Ive got the slice leather trousers and my feet also get stuck in the lining. Im glad its not me either size wise. Im a 39-40 chest and was surprised a 48 was the one that fits best. I thought i had got insanely fat.

Is the jacket comfortable? Does the race hump get in the way at all with your helmet?

I have the RST trousers. I once made the mistake of trying to put them on with no socks and sweaty feet... I got on a real tangle with the lining!!

Now I always wear socks and make sure I point my toes!!

Jackets fine to wear, no complaints from me.

You don't really notice the hump untill someone taps on it to ask what it is.

Tell them the hump is your parachute and watch the confusion on their face :)

That made me lol.

It dosnt matter how I point my feet they still get stuck in the lining.

Going to have a look later and see if it's removerbel

How do you find the knee sliders sit? I move mine down so they're pretty much hanging off the Velcro bit but they're still too bloody high and the plastic slider part comes away from the fabric bit after a while.

Sliders seem fine. Problem ive had is that the thickness of the legs make my calfs too big for my boots to do up!

I have the slice two piece

this is my second set of RST leathers I crashed 3 times in one set before they gave up the ghost

as for the lining pull it up at the back of the trousers first it helps a little

my sliders come off the velcro a bit but they stay put I never have to adjust them or re stick them and I find the position of them fine not that I have used them

  • 1 year later...

Inside off the knees are a bit tatty looking from gripping the tankpads.

The stitching was a loose end.

Ive crashed them. They held up pretty well. Just abit of grazing on the leather.

The worse thing about them is that the jacket zip works its way down as i ride.

Sliders have been spot on.
