Questions on adding a new exhaust.

Recommended Posts

Hi to all,

I have a Yamaha 125WRx 2011 reg with stock exhaust. I have the arrow exhaust to add and to not risk it im going to declare it to my insurance. However they have been asking for very precise details on the changes it may make which honestly I dont know. If anybody does know could they list them or some for me please, will be very appreciated.

Cheers Guys.

Which insurance company you with??

My ins company just categorise them as either less than 15% flow increase or more than 15% flow increase.. An exhaust with greater than 15% flow increase only cost me 40quid to add on..

It won't make any difference to the performance it's purely for cosmetic reasons. If you have the full system the downpipe is actually smaller than the standard one so it actually restricts the bikes top speed slightly but increases the throttle response. If you need to email/ring Arrow and get the specifics.

Ps if you have the full system keep an eye on your oil it tends to disappear without you realising.
