I have spotted a few bikes for sale and have emailed 7 or 8 without any replies! Tango Posted October 10, 2014 Share Posted October 10, 2014 I've bought several bikes off eBay.......and never had any probs with comms.......but I'm very careful about the ads and will only entertain bikes where the seller seems keen and puts a good honest description into the ad...... I am only looking at bikes close to North Wales where I live and so my choice is limited anyway. Replies to my emails would be helpful hence my post asking you guys. thanks for the reply. XmisterIS Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Emailing sellers is a good idea. When I was looking for a car, I found lots of dodgy cars on EBay. What should get your alarm bells ringing is stuff like:1) Incomplete vehicle details on advert.2) You email the buyer saying "Do you have the full paperwork for this vehicle?" or "Has this vehicle been involved in any accidents?" etc, and if they do reply, they avoid the question.
