My alarm has starting making a "Boop" noise after its 2 arming beeps.

Manual says it's arming with an "open contact".

What's that all about? The manual wasn't good enough to explain that part.

Do you have contacts under the seat? I have teo on my rider seat as you can just take it off with a couple of allen bolts and then theres the battery and ecu soas soon as mu seat is removed the alarm goes off. If you have the same kind of contacts maybe one has came off or damaged wiring to it

Hmmm... when I was installing my USB chargee today, I did notice there was something that wasn't connected ti anything. Perhaos that's what it was... I'll have another, more thorough look tomorrow. So it's going to be two sensors that aren't touching each other then?

more than likely.. an open contact on a bike is probably (though not definitely) the same as one in a house alarm.. where you try to set the alarm but it tells you a door or window isn't closed.

Yeah that would be my first port of call, its usually something very simple and easily overlooked as with tech wiring i and most others look for a complex reason for it not working. Good luck with your gremlin hunt pal
