Hi folks, I've got a 2007 honda cg 125, it's headlight is permanently on and is annoying when leaving the house in the morning as its shines in a neighbours bedroom. Is there any easy way to make the light switched?

1. Locate the wire to the headlight relay (will be from the ignition switch).

2. Cut wire.

3. Install connection box (waterproof).

4. Connect cut wire to new twin cable from connection box to a switch (handlebar mounted - left side).

5. Test OK.

NB. New cable & switch should be capable of taking the current required by the headlight relay (should not be very high).

There's a kit available for the Speed Triple that has some wiring and an extra relay that stops the lights coming on when starting the bike to reduce the current draw on the battery and you switch the lights on by switching to high beam.....the lights then work normally until the ignition is switched off again.......should be fairly easy to work out how to do this, and the wiring and relay can be hidden somewhere......

If he is a car driver it will be a constant reminder that there are biker's out there besides that he can't complain u can't turn then off and if he does complain show him the bike. And if he does complain more he should get black out curtains.
