jamesrb90
So yeah gear indicators?I like the idea of one of these things and I'm still really crap at remembering what gear in in lol Iv seen some that are plug and play from demon tweeks of their ebay site for around 80 pound. Any one have any experience with one of these??and also seen a cheaper one that you wires into the back of the speedo. Alot cheaper okay I'm ready to be laughed at ))))
Six30
I was always going for that seventh gear... I got one that plugs into the diagnostic port on my bike, easy to instal and a good mod.
Joeman
nice gimmick that you will rarely use...With a digital speedo and digital gear indicator and a quick glimpse, i've actually found myself approaching a stop thinking i was still in 5th gear, when in fact i was in 1st gear but doing 5mph... Glorian
I tend to guess what gear i am in and hope for the best.. Nah i tend to remember roughly if im ever confused i just change down untill i see that magical green light of neutral and go from there
fq-craigus
If you get one make sure it is a specific one for your bike that just plugs in. Dont get one of the ones with read switches they are useless

Guest
James, here's your gear indications...<15 you're in 1st<25 you're in 2nd<40 you're in 3rd<55 you're in 4th<70 you're in 5th>70 you're in 6thWell that's how I do it anyway. Since I no longer have your R6, it now goes:<34 I'm in 1st>34 I'm in 2nd. LOL.Point is, you don't need it, just go by your engine speed & speedo, besides, no real need to know anyway - just get to know your engine & road speeds and you'll be able to say which gear you're in every time. Joe85
Whenever I'm coming to a side turn I always knock it down to first before going back up into 2nd, just to be sure. Is this bad?
