bertieboy Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Hi,My choke cable is ill fitting and comes out of the lever on the handle bars when i push it to the off position. The bike struggles when it gets to a certain speed, and will only rev to about 6 or 7k when in neutral.Could the choke be slightly stuck on? And if so, would this cause the lack of top end speed and low top revs?Can i completly remove the choke cable and still use the bike? Tango Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Sounds like the cable or the choke mechanism is sticking.......I'd have the cable off and give it a clean & lube......or evenreplace it.......and check the choke mechanism too......
