Tango
Check to see if it's sparking, then check fuel system if you have a spark.....then check the compression if the other two are ok.....
Guest
No spark for some reason but there is compression but if was working yesterday at around 1 am and I tried starting it at 10am in the morning and it didn't work
Tango
Start easy......try a new plug first and then see where you go......
Guest
The plug is new but there isn't any spark
GazW
The plug is new but there isn't any sparkNew or recent?Plugs can be duff from the off. If you haven't tried brand new one, go out and buy one. If that doesn't work, try a new spark plug cap and trim an inch of the HT lead before screwing the new one on. It's a case of trial and error in your case. If you start at one end and replace everything as you work back you're eliminating everything you've replaced. They are the most simple and cheapest things to replace in the ignition system.
eastanglianbiker
very possibly the cdi unit or the pick up on the crankshaft both cheap enough to replace
