Guest Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 asking on behalf of my dad, his gsx wont start after being stood a couple of months, the battery has been charged, theres fuel, had mini service last summer!! it tries to start but just not quite there, theres puffs of smoke coming out the exhaust when trying to start. any ideas why it wont start or things to try?? eastanglianbiker Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 if its turning over well it might be worth undoing the drain screw in the bottom of each carb and checking that clean fuel runs out of the float bowl drains,once it does shut them off and try starting the bike again Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
