Righto little bit of a rant, Had my float valves changed about a month ago. Mechanic said i'll need it back in 200 miles to check the flaot valves it's a 20min job. So i forgot about it went in today and he mentioned it would need to be with him a couple hours.. Now how legit is this? and is it something i could check myself? I jsut feel like he's mugging me off a bit ..

Cheers Stu, getting a bit fed up with this place, Never get back to me in regards to ordering parts and generally don't seem to give a rats ass, might try a different garage to check it.

to be honest with you I dont know why they want to check them again!

does it run ok now?

Unless they didn't set them right in the first place...

If it runs fine then no drama. :-)

you have got the main tope gasket which is rubber and can be reused a few times but in the end they do go brittle and end up leaking and also the bolts have rubber seals on the stems as well so check its not them leaking numbers 2 and 7 in this picture http://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-gsf600-1999 ... ml#results

I assume that's the rubber black part on top? As far as i'm aware they're the old ones still. Noticed there is always some liquid seeping from them slightly.

Spark plug covers?
