I definitely need some proper clothing and quick..Nope I haven't fallen off, I've gone by a gritter at 50 mph in my jeans...That comes keen.. But of course, using the same kit in all seasons means it wears twice as fast, so you don't really save any money. Even with summer gear it can get hot (does anyone else ride with knees outstretched to cool the pods at the height of summer?).In your shoes I'd be investing in summer gear now while deals are to be found then look at proper winter gear when the weather turns.
