dirtlego
Hi guys,I own Yamaha FZ8 for two weeks now and noticed that my fuel meter shows full tank all the time, flashes 8 times and goes off for about 2-3 seconds. According to the service manual this is caused by malfunction of electrical circuit.Does anybody know if this is something that I can fix it by myself or this is serious and I have to go to the dealer?Anyone experinced the same problem? Thanks,
Stu
If you have only had it two weeks and you got it from a dealer take it back for them to sort out
dirtlego
No, it came from a guy, not the dealer, model 2011.I will contact the dealer but they will charge me fortune I suppose. Anyway if there is no other way,... Cheers

dirtlego
Update on the issue,... The problem was serious and the dealer gave up after four weeks. I guess he tried to make it cheap, but at the end he realized that the ecu must be changed. Anyway I got my money back and now I have FZ1N.
