areet,

I have been looking at getting a performance exhaust for my 50cc yamaha jog, but i just want to make sure they dont do any harm to my bike, what do you think? Also i was going to get one from my local shop but the price is a bit steep so might get one of the internet, but is it just a case taking the 2 bolts out and putting the new one on or do i HAVE to change rollers, springs.

cheers

heres the pipe i was thinking of getting, would not let meu se proper way yet.

This One?

Think it'll be two bolts where it fix's to the engine and one bolt further along, it should be really easy but you'll probably find all the nuts and bolts rusted so it'll be a complete nightmare.

Is it really worth spending £80 to make it go 2mph quicker, you'd be better off saving that money for a bigger bike

Thats the one since am new it would not let me do that yet, some of my mates have got them for their scooter and it has made teirs quicker by about 10-15 mph which is quite good so i will be able to keep up :D ,

Ah, now it makes sense, when I was sixteen and had a 50cc I'd have probably put one on too. I think the springs and rollers are inside the exhaust, but I'm guessing on that one. Mind out no coppers see you doing 45mph though!

I dont blame ya pal, if I were half my age Id look at doing stuff on it. Rode m lads ap50 for a mot and it were miserable, in fairness he weighs half as much as me lol so power to weights in his favour

Look forward to getting a 'big" bike, all that midrange brings a whole new term to twist and go

You an get a 125 when your 17 still cant you? Ive told my lad to wait til then, unless you intend on keeping it years n years your not going to see the money back, Id hang on 12 months.

(Good to see proper newbie riders bud, not just middle aged lardarses like erm me lol thinking now would be a good time to expose thier leather fetish)
